We have long since established our commitment to sustainability as an overarching corporate goal of the KIND4stores store shopfitting group. It includes far-reaching measures to reduce energy consumption, the economical use of raw materials and the avoidance of waste and pollutant emissions wherever possible. In addition, we are committed to social issues in our companies and their regional environments.
For the KIND4stores group, this is not just about continuously improving its own sustainability balance in our company buildings and production facilities. The aim is also to offer more joint environmentally friendly and resource-saving solutions for shops and stores. We see a lot of potential for this in the retail sector.
KIND4stores will therefore continue to work on reconciling economy and ecology: for the maximum benefit and well-being of retailers, the environment, employees and customers.
A question of ecology and economy
When it comes to sustainability, we don't plan out of the blue. Our common red thread is green.
NWI Group strong in environmental protection
Our group of companies operates under the umbrella of the NWI Group and thus also benefits from the technical expertise of the NWI Consulting team in the implementation of its environmental projects and solutions. Among other things, companies of the NWI Group are among Europe's market leaders in the solar supply industry.
Made in Europe: short distances for a better CO2 balance
For us, choosing Germany and Czcech as our company locations is also a decision for more sustainability!
The KIND4stores companies produce exclusively in Central Europe: at two production sites in North Rhine-Westphalia for the DACH region and in the Central Czech Republic, primarily for the Eastern European market.
This means that we account for significantly less greenhouse gas and pollutant emissions compared to global sourcing with its internationalized supply chains. In addition to the ecological benefits, more and more customers in the retail sector are appreciating the logistical advantages of a local complete supply: it is more efficient and more reliable in planning.
Upcycling: We move around 1 million parts a year
In production and manufacturing, we successfully rely on the circular economy. The refurbishment and reconditioning of a shopfitting is usually the more cost-effective and sustainable solution than the complete replacement of a shop.
And it doesn't matter whether it's a modernization or
a completely new furnishing. Up to 70% of existing furnishing components can be reusesd for a second life cycle.

At KIND4stores, not only the quality of the used raw materials and the manufacturing process itself are in the focus on creating long-lasting and sustainable solutions. Our metal shopfitting system is also constantly evolving to offer even greater modularity and therefore flexibility. In this way, we achieve that replacement, conversion, expansion, moving or setting up new shops and stores will be even easier and constantly more resource-saving.

Our planning units for modern shopfitting, creative shop design and efficient store concepts from KIND4stores always keep an eye on the environmental issue during project planning. At the same time, they ensure that ecological principles are implemented innovatively and professionally.
